I don't know if I'll ever be able to enjoy movies ever again the same way.

And apologies for my lack of updating this week. I've been busy recovering from my freshman fall and eating all the food I can during the reading week study breaks. When they said I'd have a freshman fifteen, I thought it would be a gradual gain, not acquired in a week.

There's this one canned effect that is on this old hair band from the 80s, Queensryche, album Operation Mindcrime (circa 1989-ish)that says something along the lines of [in the background of a hospital room, urgent nurse's footsteps falling loudly in the foreground]"Paging Dr Blair, Dr Blair, Dr J Hamilton, Dr J Hamilton..."
Since noticing that on the album, I have heard it in the background of almost every TV scene taking place in a hospital.
The Wilhelm Scream is so much more fascinating though.
